I didn’t do so well at doing one photo every hour, every hour that I was awake either on Saturday or Sunday, partially because some of Thom’s family was in town. It is hard to focus on my own obsessive compulsiveness while trying to converse and brainstorm activities for a mixed age and interest group.. and also having the DSLR out for part of the day Saturday led me to forget about my cell camera. But here is what I did get…
Saturday, February 16
I let my phone die the night before and went to bed without attending to much of anything, so I had to start after my phone had charged rather than when I woke up.
12:30 pm – What Thom REALLY wanted for Valentine’s Day – my sink half ass organized and uncluttered.1 pm – Walking in to my last Adobe illustrator class at Courtyard Center. I have now sufficiently been reminded that sitting in class is not my thing.
4:30 pm – Staring at the dvds on the wall, while laying on the couch, waiting for everyone to get there.
5pm – Watching Thom play drums from the stair landing.
6pm – Out the window, driving down to Dallas with the family.
7pm – The specials sign at Angry Dog where we ate dinner.
7:30pm – Thom and Madalyn (his sister) walking through Deep Ellum.
7:41pm – The Omni.
7:42pm – The Green light.
11pm – Super Water Sympathy playing at Prophet.
Saturday, February 17 2013
9am – Light coming through the window.
11am – A swarm of Koi fish at the Dallas Zoo.
11:30am – Horned skulls in the window of a zoo building.
12pm – Trying out the hurricane simulator/$2 hairstyle machine.
1pm – The wilds of Africa.
1:30pm – Cheetah shadow.
2pm – Blood red Dublin cream soda at Maple and Motor.
3pm – And would you like a comic with that? Also at Maple and Motor.
7:30pm – Waiting for the buzzer to go off at the restaurant, making bets on when it would with Madalyn and Thom.
