My blog has gone through a slow evolution over time – I started it on Blogger many lives ago as a confessional during my (kind of unglamorous) modeling days, and took detours to the bars where I paid the bills when I had to, then it meandered for awhile when I started working in the video game industry, and moved to WordPress, and now I think I have embarked on the course its meant to be on. I do style, music, travel, aesthetic and lifestyle, but I keep the edges rough in accordance with my blue collar heritage. I try to show that life can be beautiful, even without the manicure.
I Like:
Unique style
Playstation era RPGs
Grunge
Rock n Roll
Fancying myself a badass
Taking pictures of people, especially people who don’t know I’m taking pictures
Making videos
Making things I want
Going somewhere, anywhere
Sarcasm
I Don’t Like:
Lyrics that make me cringe
Bright pastel jeans
Ruffles
Meanness
Negativity that isn’t funny
Taxes
Homogeneous-ness

Hey Rika! I nominated your blog for the Libester Award: http://anothernovelread.wordpress.com/2013/02/25/liebster-award/
😀
Or Liebster Award… you know, if I could spell.
Rika, Renee here from Guerrilla Aging. I thank you for the Liebster Award. For deep-seated psychological reasons which would involve paying a therapist a lot of money to uncover, I don’t participate in these awards. Also, Guerrilla Aging had a short life, indeed. I no longer post there.
I now simply ask women to guest post on my regular blog, Life in the Boomer Lane. I’ve looked at your posts and I like your words. Would you guest post on my blog? You can email me at lifeintheboomerlane@gmail.com and I can give you all the details. I look forward to hearing from you. –Renee
Oh, sorry to nominate the wrong blog! I will shoot you an email.. 🙂
That’s an expert answer to an inttsereing question
This is an interesting blog and I see you were a model once. I wanted to be a model, but I was not tall enough and was a little heavy. So I became an attorney.
