Sunday was taking the train to the Maverick’s game, Home Depot for plants and dirt, and some laundry. There’s always one thing that makes me forget to take a couple of photos; this time its working in the yard.
9am – Wake up time.11am – Thom checks his phone at the Dart, after we missed the first train.
11:10 – Riding on trains.
11:30ish – A Hooters bus materializes to take up to the game.
12pm – Up the escalator at American Airlines Center.
12:35 – the game. Basketball isn’t really my thing. Actually, the things I don’t know about sports would amaze you. But, when they drug me up to the bar to watch that Mavs and Heat playoff game, I did sort of become a fan of Nowitzki. I like his lack of showmanship, and I would be sad if I found out that he was actually a jerk.
1:30 pm – the part of the free desert that I couldn’t finish.
2pm – Switching suites.
3pm – I was actually trying to take a picture of the tv in the bathroom mirror, but it didn’t show up. So instead its a vanity shot. (The necklace is a deco-style antique. From about 18-21, one of my favorite hobbies was looking for old, odd but wearable jewelry at antique shops. The lady at Daisy Lane knew what I liked and would show me what was new every time I came in. Now that I’m less broke I should get back into it.)
3pm – Thom and I walking back to West End, in reflection.
4pm – The Dart pulls into the station.
5pm – Garden section at Home Depot.
7pm – finished with yard work.. thom transforms the indoor herb garden into an ornamental garden by adding an antler.
10pm – cucumber/avocado/spicy mayo mess.. weird looking but good.
11pm – Doing all the laundry that I should have done earlier.
